LA Confidential Motel Shootout Scene

This scene fits the stereotypical shootout scene that would be expected from a film noir as it features the bad guy and the detective shooting to kill. Perhaps we could use this element in our film noir however it is unlikely that a scene like this would feature in the opening scene.
